Your choice

The choice is stored in localStorage on your device, under the key hv-consent. It is not sent to a server. If you clear site data in your browser, the banner comes back.

Functional, always on

Functional storage only remembers that choice, so the banner does not return on every visit. There are no other functional cookies. You cannot switch this off without clearing the choice.

Analytics, only with consent

Analytics is off by default. No Google Analytics, Plausible or other measurement tool is loaded. A later tool may start only after you accept analytics. Until that consent, nothing happens: no cookie and no script.

The place where such a tool may load later is window.hvConsent.onAnalyticsAccepted in the site's own script. That function does nothing until you accept analytics.

Your browser
